In Entre Aquí y Allá, Laura Ortiz Vega presents works exploring image, identity, and the physical act of making. Through her meticulous use of embroidery thread and wax, Ortiz Vega builds surfaces in which material and image continually shift between one another, inviting viewers to move between looking at an image and encountering it as an object.
